Alonzo Jones AKA Turf from America’s Got Talent

4 years ago I was walking down Market Street in San Francisco. I was photographing these incredible street performers and the one who stood out in particular with his red hair and contortionist dance moves happened to be Alonzo Jones aka “Turf”. Gas Leak: Downtown SF

On Thursday, November 10th, I was photographing the SF Fashion & Tech event at Rocket Space in downtown SF.  It was cut short early when everyone was evacuated, because of a gas leak.  Thankfully everything was fixed in time.

With a solid lineup of bands, the HSBG festival drew some of the largest crowds I’ve ever seen (and the largest in the country). With that being said, you never know what your going to see, either on stage or off. Friday night’s show featuring Robert Plant and his Band of Joy and getting the chance to listen to Buckethead rock out on Saturday night were definitely moments I’m glad I didn’t miss.
